Cultural Week was a fantastic celebration of our diversity at NPGHS

Our inaugural Cultural Week was a wonderful success with students participating in a Waka scavenger hunt, lantern making in the library, a cultural-themed Kahoot!, cultural dress day, and henna art, throughout the week with the highlight being our first-ever Cultural Night.

Featuring over 50 performers, including special guests from NPBHS and SHGC the Cultural Night was spectacular evening. Eleven cultures were represented through music, dance, and performance, creating a vibrant and memorable evening. Hosted by Cheryl Mudawarima, co-founder of the Sisonke Taranaki African Community, the event was supported by funding from the Taranaki Multi Ethnic Council and raised $450 in donations.
