The Stadium is set-up on Wednesday lunch times for students to play badminton. Badminton is played during Terms 2 and 3.  

A team is selected to represent NPGHS and compete at the New Zealand Secondary School championships in Term 3, and TSSSA run a badminton event.  

There are two New Plymouth Clubs that students are encouraged to join, please find more information about these on the Taranaki Badminton website.
