Volleyball

Volleyball has a major profile in our sporting community and grown in popularity at NPGHS. We have strong links to other codes within the school and many of our top sports students play Volleyball. All skills are taught in the NPGHS programme if you are selected into a competitive team.  Many of our players go on to represent the province including the ability to represent New Zealand. NPGHS offers both Beach Volleyball (2 vs 2) and Indoor Volleyball (6 vs 6), with the focus on competing at New Zealand’s largest secondary school competition.  Our Senior and Junior A teams are rank amongst the best nationally.  

We do offer a social league during Term 1.  Our competitive Indoor and Beach teams play in competitions all around New Zealand and attend their respective National Tournaments.
