New Plymouth Girls' High School students wear a simple and practical uniform throughout the year. Emphasis is placed on wearing the uniform correctly and with pride.
We have a Uniform Shop on campus. As well as stocking the new school uniform, the shop runs a second hand uniform service for buying and selling quality used uniforms. EFTPOS is available at the Uniform Shop.

Sorry for the inconvenience but our Stock has not yet arrived from our supplier. We have limited items in the shop and will kit you out with what we do have and make orders for items we do not have in yet. When our stock does arrive, we will bag up your items and contact you for pick up.
We will do our best with what we have and Thank you for your understanding. The majority of our stock will arrive in bulk next week and some smaller orders are due to arrive at the end of January.

Any additional clothing worn underneath the uniform (i.e. tee shirt) must not be visible.
Representing NPGHS at formal occasions. Regulation Blazer and navy skirt, white blouse and tie.
PE Uniform for All Levels
Any black or navy top, black or navy shorts/trackpants, sneakers, swimming gear. Protective gear, e.g. mouth guard.
Students will be allowed to wear one plain pair of earrings (either studs or sleepers), one silver or gold, metal, pin-head sized, nose or lip piercing and a wristwatch. Items of cultural significance may be worn on a chain around the neck and hidden from view. All other items of jewellery may be confiscated and held at Student Services. No makeup or nail polish is to be worn.
