Letter
Autumn greetings to all parents. We are pleased
to welcome our students back for the second term of 2005. Term
1 was a settling in time and we are now seriously into the
business of learning, and in the case of the seniors (Years
11 to 13) to preparing for the first set of practice examinations.
However, as was the case in Term 1, we have an exciting programme
of sporting, cultural and social events to complement the academic
programme, and this newsletter is about catching you up with
recent events and informing you what is in prospect. Attached
is your Term Calendar.
We would like
to thank all parents who attended the Parent/Teacher interviews
at
the end of Term 1. We are very conscious that
partnership meetings with parents are essential in terms of
our common objective namely the progress and success of our
students both in learning and in pursuit of their aims in life.
All parents are encouraged to contact the school if they have
any concerns and are reminded that for most issues the first
point of contact is the Dean of the Year Level –
Year 9 Mrs Lapwood and Mrs Bennett
Year 10 Miss Bullas and Mrs Lewis
Year 11 Mrs Thompson-Garrett and Mrs McGregor
Year 12 Mr Sanders and Mrs Baxter
Year 13 Mrs Findlay and Mrs Fagg
